Book Description: Story & Art by Kanoko Sakurakouji
He loves her blood, but does he love her?!
There is a world of myth and
magic that intersects ours, and only a special few can see it. Misao
Harada is one such person, and she wants nothing to do with magical
realms. She just wants to have a normal high school life and maybe get a
boyfriend.
But she is the bride of demon prophecy, and her blood grants
incredible powers, her flesh immortality. Now the demon realm is
fighting over the right to her hand...or her life!
Sho’s death should have meant a return to peace for Misao and Kyo, once they came to terms with their guilt. But instead Misao finds herself displaying strange new powers she can’t quite control.
Is this just the next stage for her as the Senka Maiden, or is something more sinister going on…?

Personal View:
I
got this copy from Barns and noble (same time I bought Volumes 4-17) in
store for $9.99 plus tax,
it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I
believe its $5.99. The ranged age still hasn't been change "Older teen
16+". This cover artwork this time is extremely nice, I like the fact that Sakurakouji has Lady Misao in the yukata kimono that Lord Kyo picked out for her. It really makes the cover more personal to them as a couple. Lord Kyo spoiling his bride too cute.
On her way to Lord Kyo's house to show off her new yukata, Lady Misao believes she sees a demon, but then it gets driven off. She doesn't know why it happened, she tells Lord Kyo about the incident, hoping for an answer. After finding out her body is putting out a small amount of power scares her some. Later on she goes with her parents to see the firework show. In her anxiety the power kicks in again and people are being pushed away from her on all sides. Sensing her panic Lord Kyo fly's in to be at her side, hoping to claim her down. She cry's from being worried and scared. Her mother tells Kyo to take her somewhere to stop the tears.
Lord Kyo takes Lady Misao to the top of a tall building so that they may watch the firework display alone. Lord Kyo embraces Lady Misao, then kisses her. A few seconds after their kiss Lady Misao passes out cold in Lord Kyo's arms. He tries to wake her with no luck, later she wakes up in her bed, with him by her side. Neither of them sure why it happen, Lord Kyo tries to explain to Lady Misao that if she is developing powers like his she has to eat more. Besides getting enough sleep so that her body can keep her new found powers in check or she'll just burn herself out. Later we come to find out the power that she is putting off. In fact is not even her's, its the child that she's carrying. So that if something happens that she's being threatened or any type of emotion of distress. The child's powers take action to protect its self and its mother.
