Personal View:

I got this copy from Barns and noble (same time I bought Volumes 4-17) in store for $9.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. The ranged age still hasn't been change "Older teen 16+". We see Hoki on the cover, man does he look so young. OMG!! This one has more of a modern feeling background. I got used to more of a floral background kinda theme going on. Yes, though the flowers hes holding really do make the picture with the stretched out hand!! Thank you Sakurakouji for bring the flowers back. This volumes special addition chapter is from New years. All I gotta say about it is, Poor... little Taro with his brothers, and their gifts. Lord Kyo can be so mean sometimes!!... "Smiles"

I want to start by saying this opener for chapter forty-eight has a lot of feeling and meaning behind it. Maybe its just me from all the classes I have taken when I was in college. An maybe I'm just reading between the lines a little. It just seem to have spoke to me this way. Besides the fact it kind of gives more of the ending of this volume away. We see Lady Misao healing Lord Kyo from his injures he received getting Zenki back under control.

It's like she's tells herself she's nothing more then Lord Kyo's tool even though we can see he really loves her. But Lord Sho is hurt because he had his future torn apart from him all over the love of Lady Misao. Lord Sho may have accepted not having this roll, though he still can't come to terms with his feelings. Even so that is why I think he pushes everyone away or treats them badly. So he feels the need to remove himself from other people so he doesn't make new bonds to them. Because the first one he ever had got pulled away.

I believe its not so much the feeling of hatred that drives him its more of a feeling of being moved over, or abandoned by everyone including his own father since he did back Kyo. An Lady Misao cause in the end she did pick Lord Kyo over him, even though she should have been his by right. That Lord Sho wont stop till he has Lady Misao in his grasp, since he has read the whole Senka Roku. He believes that he can keep Lady Misao from harm. It has always been blankly obvious that he does love her very much so, even though he acts out so badly toward her. Because that's the only way he knows how to show love.

Believe I said somewhere in a previous post, That Lord Kyo, and Lord Sho were going to have some fight or confrontation between them over Lady Misao. Which does start in chapter fifty-one, maybe its also a fight of brothers. Cause one took something from the other, that was so very important to the other one. For having something pored into you since birthday that this is your destiny then, someone coming in an taking it. Hell yes!! I would be pissed if it were myself. Especially after putting in all the time an dedication working myself to my very limit. Cause that's what was expected of me.
