Personal View:

I'm completely in love with this series!! I was first told about it actually from one of the book sellers I buy from. What a major shock their!! I didn't take her word for it at all. I seriously thought this was going to be another musshhhyyy teenie pop kid series. An I had no interest in wasting my time. We all know how busy I can get. But I was sick and surfing over Netflix and this got my attention, I said "Hey, if anything I can fall asleep to it!" BOY! Was I wrong!!

I was pulled in right away, I could seriously sit her and write all about it! I love this series that much!! An I have yet to read the manga!!! "Can't WAIT" I'm beyond excited, I even pushed it up on my reading list. I've watched the Anime god only knows how many times. I swear it gets better each time... My only complaint so far is that their is only one season!!!! Also that they left it as kinda a open ending!! GOD! I hate this it drives me crazy!! I'm very sure though its all written out for us in the manga.

I think anyone can related to this series without a problem also that I think any age above the 5th grade would love it, "Girl" not dising the guys. But girls to love these kinda things more. Just so I don't ruin it for anyone I'll shut up and scream "YOU MUST READ, GREAT ADDITION TO A MAJOR MANGA OR ANIME COLLECTOR!!"

Episode One: Starting Today, You Are a Host!

Description:

Scholarship student Haruhi Fujioka arrives at the elite private school Ouran Academy where she is mistaken for a male due to her boyish appearance and deeper-than-usual-for-a-girl voice. Haruhi stumbles upon the Host Club (in Music Room 3) while looking for a quiet place to study and, while trying to escape, accidentally breaks a vase costing eight million yen. To pay off the debt, Haruhi is forced to become a "dog" for the club and work off "his" debt. After awhile, the hosts realize Haruhi's potential as a host and change his means of repayment from errand boy to a Host-in-Training who must obtain one hundred "requests" from customers. One by one, the other club members come to realize Haruhi's true gender, except for Tamaki Suoh. On her first day as a host, Haruhi gets into a fight with Princess Ayanokoji, one of Tamaki's jealous customers, which results in Haruhi's quota being increased to one thousand customers. The fight is broken up when Haruhi and Ayanokoji are doused with water, requiring Haruhi to change into a dry girl's uniform; at which point, Tamaki walks in on her while she is partially undressed and finally discovers her true gender.

 The Host Club finds out that one of their regular customers, Kanako Kasugazaki, one of the few that skips from host to host regularly, is having trouble with her fiancé, Toru Suzushima. The group cooks up a plan to help them reunite at the upcoming Dance Party. As part of the club's plan, they make Haruhi dress up as a girl. Haruhi approaches Toru in a darkened classroom, pretending to be an admirer. Toru tells her that he's flattered but that he cares for someone else and is leaving Japan to study abroad to better himself for her sake. Kanako finds them together and flees, in tears. Toru catches up to her and they reaffirm their feelings for one another. At the end of the party, a "queen" is chosen to receive a kiss on the cheek from Tamaki. However, just as Kanako is chosen as the queen, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin announce that Haruhi will be giving the kiss. Tamaki realizes this will be Haruhi's first kiss and, jealous, runs to stop her and accidentally pushes her, instead. Haruhi ends up kissing Kanako on the lips, embarrassing both parties. Kanako's fiancee, Toru, decides that the kiss does not count and all is well.
