(Cover Artwork) Book Description: Story & Art by Gokurakuin Sakurako "Ashika Sakura"
In Tokyo known as Shinto Teito New Eastern Imperial Capital in 2020, 19-year-old Minato Sahashi is extremely intelligent, but his inability to cope under pressure often results in failure.
One day, Minato meets a girl named Musubi, who literally falls from the sky. Minato soon learns
that she is a "Sekirei" who chose him as her "Ashikabi", a human with
special powers that allows them to have a contract with Sekirei. This
binds the Sekirei to him and allows them to use their full power in
elimination battles with other Sekirei. Made up of cute girls, buxom
women, and bishōnen, the Sekirei fight in a competition known as "The Game" or the "Sekirei Plan" organized by Hiroto Minaka, the chairman and founder of the mysterious and powerful MBI Corporation.
Minato soon learns that being the partner of a girl is not all fun and games,
especially when several other Sekirei choose him as their Ashikabi,
each also forming a contract with him. Now, Minato must find a way to
survive both the life-threatening battles of the Sekirei Plan and his
partners' fierce competition for him.
Personal View:
I came across this anime on netflix when I couldn't find something good to watch. I personally aren't into harem type style things. But I thought this was pretty cool, with all the fighting action. Along with the funny times were all the girls are fighting for Minato's attention. My favorite charter was the landlady. I just didn't like how open ended they left the anime. I still have yet to read the manga, from all the research I've done everything says the manga has way more info.
Just so everyone is clear, since I normally post mostly about manga. This manga is not in a english print, but I have listed below a link were it has been translated over. No, I don't know or believe their will be a season three for the anime.
Overall Rating: 4 Stars

You can buy the seasons 1-2 at Barns and Noble online, or you can watch it on Netflix. I have only found the sub-title versions on YouTube.
This omnibus edition contains volumes 10-12 from the hit manga series Dance in the Vampire Bund.
Lord Ivanovic is dead. Akira and the members of the Beowulf have averted all-out war with the three vampire clans and prevented the Bund's nuclear reactor from going critical and raining down radioactive fallout across the entire Kantou region. The costs have been high, friends have been lost, and the blows keep coming.
In response to the repeated assassination attempts on her life, Mina Tepes' policies have taken and overly headline approach, if not erratic and secretive. When the veil of secrecy is lifted, there will be hell to pay.

Yes, as you can tell I'm totally an completely hooked to this series. I first saw this back in 2013, one of my associates recommended this to me. And being alittle optimistic I blow it off for about three months. I happen to be on netflix one day and just said fine I'll give it a shot. From that moment I was hooked. I've seen all the anime episodes. I've only looked over the manga briefly, though it is on my to read list and I have downloaded it.
From what I've heard from many different people that have experienced both of the manga and anime, say that the two are very different. Which you'll also see in the video I posted below. I have however looked at at the manga, the artwork is by far my most favorite. Some of the fit scenes are draw out to beautifully. That I was alittle disappointed that they were not in the anime. Yet, once again, me an my fabulousness found you the manga online for your reading pleasures. Hopefully you will enjoy this type of series just as much as I have, and sure will even more in the future.
You can also buy the manga at Barns and noble. I've listed below different information websites, and the first few episodes on the anime season one. Enjoy!!

Akihisa Ikeda was born in 1976 in Miyazaki. He debuted as a mangaka with the four-volume magical warrior fantasy series Kiruto in 2002, which was serialized in Monthly Shonen Jump. Rosario+Vampire debuted in Monthly Shonen Jump in March of 2004 and is continuing in the magazine Jump Square (Jump SQ) as Rosario+Vampire: Season II. In Japan, Rosario+Vampire
is also available as a drama CD. In 2008, the story was first released
as an anime. Season II is also available as an anime now. And in Japan,
there is a Nintendo DS game based on the series. Ikeda has been a huge
fan of vampires and monsters since he was a little kid. He says one of
the perks of being a manga artist is being able to go for walks during
the day when everybody else is stuck in the office.

have a mortal intolerance for humans, Tsukune tries to find a way to
escape from the school. Upon his attempt to run away from the school,
Tsukune has a confrontation with Moka. A fight with a delinquent student
named Saizo quickly complicates and endangers Tsukune's life right
before he accidentally removes the rosario on Moka's neck. Tsukune
learns that Moka's true form has a different personality, which easily

students. Tsukune's fortunes deteriorate further when the popular
succubus Kurumu Kurono
declares Moka as her rival and attempts to seduce him. Tsukune is put
in a trance by Kurumu and ends up hurting Moka's feelings by saying she
only uses him as beverage. Kurumu manages to get Tsukune alone, planning
to turn him into her first slave as part of her plan to make the male
students into her personal harem; Tsukune manages to break the spell.
Enraged, Kurumu tries to kill him, but Moka arrives and saves him;
Tsukune unleashes the other Moka and Kurumu is beat up. The next day,

lizardmen who are intolerant of witches, Yukari quickly finds that
Tsukune is a true friend and vows to turn over a new leaf.
Unfortunately, it means she now loves both Tsukune and Moka.
(Cover Artwork) Book Description: Story & Art by Ken Akamatsu
The story centres on Hitoshi Kōbe, a guy who is neither academically
gifted nor good at sports, so he does not do very well at school.
Hitoshi has only one thing going for him - his ability to program
computers. In fact, he is so good at this he has created programs that
can rewrite themselves - Artificial Intelligence, in other words. So far he has created thirty of these programs, and the latest - whom he names Saati
( The Japanese pronunciation of the English word "Thirty" )- is so
advanced that conversation with her is indistinguishable from a normal
girl and, thus, would easily pass the Turning test.
However, there is still the barrier of Hitoshi being in the physical world and Saati being a program, until one day a freak lightning strike materializes her into the real world, where she becomes the girlfriend of Hitoshi.
The series then follows their now not so ordinary lives, as well as
other A.I.s of Hitoshi's creation. The basic plotline is derivative of
the Kōsuke Fujishima manga Oh My Goddess!,
with the AI constructs being analogous to the goddess characters of the
earlier manga. The setting also bears similarities to the John Hughes film Weird Science.
Both feature male protagonists creating their ideal girlfriends on
computers and both girls are brought into the real world via lightning,
bearing somewhat superhuman powers. Despite these obvious similarities
however, Akamatsu claims not to have seen the film prior to creating the
series.

Alright yes, I kinda cheated with my info above. So all credit goes to wonderful "Wikipedia" this time. Also you can find even more info on the website I've listed below. I just really wanted to get this manga out today. Now that I've gotten that taken care of.
This great A.I. manga was written by Ken Akamatsu. I first feel in love with his work back when I read "Love Hina". I did my post on this great series back on 10/18/13. Feel free to go back and check it out. I know that its listed above that this series is more based for a teen mind, but from what I can remember I don't see anything wrong if a Pre-teen read it. Yet, again I'm not your mommy here. The artwork is great, I totally love how he draws his charters faces.
I posted all the cover artwork throughout this post. I sometimes have
to show that great appreciation to all the hard work the author puts
into this. I do have to sadly report this manga is no longer on sale, so
your best bet would be Amazon etc type places. An some of the prices I
saw were fair. So if you do happen to get your hands on this I would
love to hear your feed back.

I couldn't help myself I found another series by Kanoko Sakurakoji that I just had to read. I completely adore her artwork. I believe this 2 volume series was one of her first manga. Which after this came Black Bird which started its print in the US back in 2007 - On going. The reason why I am recommending that you read it, is because it very much is a great opener to Black Bird. Though the stories aren't anywhere near the same. Don't get me wrong though, I can totally relate to this series in so many ways.
We've all seen that "Hot Guy" from back in high school that could totally be a model, that all the girls just want. In poor little Akari's case its more of a mishap that this opportunity happens or could you possibly call it fate all because of a little black cat called Mr. Ken. That she gets to spend time with this "Prince Like" Ryusei from school. But in the world of kabuki theatre he's known as Shonosuke Ichimura, the internationally famous actor.
Yes, their is a decent amount of drama will say in this series even though its some what about acting. It is written out very well, and also shows how some teens would be having problems in a new type age of trying to date. Facing struggles to balance their relationship, personal lives, careers, along with family that has its ways of traditions.
I've also listed below some other helpful information for you.

trouble brewing behind the kabuki curtain. Ryusei's dad doesn't want
anything—or anyone!—distracting his son from his chosen profession. It's
no secret that he disapproves of Ryusei's romance with Akari. Now he's
determined to sabotage their relationship anyway he can!

Additional Information
Misanthropy is the general hatred, distrust, or disdain of the human species or human nature. A misanthrope, or misanthropist is someone who holds such views or feelings. The word's origin is from Greek words μῖσος (misos, "hatred") and ἄνθρωπος (anthrōpos, "man, human"). The condition is often confused with asociality.
Literature
Misanthropy has been ascribed to a number of writers of satire, such as William S. Gilbert ("I hate my fellow-man") and William Shakespeare (Timon of Athens). Jonathan Swift is widely believed to be misanthropic (see A Tale of a Tub and, most especially, Book IV of Gulliver's Travels). Molière's character Alceste in Le Misanthrope (1666) states:
“
My hate is general, I detest all men;
Some because they are wicked and do evil,
Others because they tolerate the wicked,
Refusing them the active vigorous scorn
Which vice should stimulate in virtuous minds.
”
Kabuki(歌舞伎) is a classical Japanese dance-drama. Kabuki theatre is known for the stylization of its drama and for the elaborate make-up worn by some of its performers.
The individual kanji characters, from left to right, mean sing (歌), dance (舞), and skill (伎). Kabuki is therefore sometimes translated as "the art of singing and dancing". These are, however, ateji characters which do not reflect actual etymology. The kanji of 'skill' generally refers to a performer in kabuki theatre. Since the word kabuki is believed to derive from the verb kabuku, meaning "to lean" or "to be out of the ordinary", kabuki can be interpreted as "avant-garde" or "bizarre" theatre. The expression kabukimono (歌舞伎者) referred originally to those who were bizarrely dressed and swaggered on a street.
