Book Description: Story & Art by Kanoko Sakurakouji
He loves her blood, but does he love her?!

  There is a world of myth and magic that intersects ours, and only a special few can see it. Misao Harada is one such person, and she wants nothing to do with magical realms. She just wants to have a normal high school life and maybe get a boyfriend.
 But she is the bride of demon prophecy, and her blood grants incredible powers, her flesh immortality. Now the demon realm is fighting over the right to her hand...or her life!

 Sho’s death should have meant a return to peace for Misao and Kyo, once they came to terms with their guilt. But instead Misao finds herself displaying strange new powers she can’t quite control.
 Is this just the next stage for her as the Senka Maiden, or is something more sinister going on…?

    Personal View:

       I got this copy from Barns and noble (same time I bought Volumes 4-17) in store for $9.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. The ranged age still hasn't been change "Older teen 16+". This cover artwork this time is extremely nice, I like the fact that Sakurakouji has Lady Misao in the yukata kimono that Lord Kyo picked out for her. It really makes the cover more personal to them as a couple. Lord Kyo spoiling his bride too cute.
      On her way to Lord Kyo's house to show off her new yukata, Lady Misao believes she sees a demon, but then it gets driven off. She doesn't know why it happened, she tells Lord Kyo about the incident, hoping for an answer. After finding out her body is putting out a small amount of power scares her some. Later on she goes with her parents to see the firework show. In her anxiety the power kicks in again and people are being pushed away from her on all sides. Sensing her panic Lord Kyo fly's in to be at her side, hoping to claim her down. She cry's from being worried and scared. Her mother tells Kyo to take her somewhere to stop the tears.
      Lord Kyo takes Lady Misao to the top of a tall building so that they may watch the firework display alone. Lord Kyo embraces Lady Misao, then kisses her. A few seconds after their kiss Lady Misao passes out cold in Lord Kyo's arms. He tries to wake her with no luck, later she wakes up in her bed, with him by her side. Neither of them sure why it happen, Lord Kyo tries to explain to Lady Misao that if she is developing powers like his she has to eat more. Besides getting enough sleep so that her body can keep her new found powers in check or she'll just burn herself out.

    Later we come to find out the power that she is putting off. In fact is not even her's, its the child that she's carrying. So that if something happens that she's being threatened or any type of emotion of distress. The child's powers take action to protect its self and its mother.

     {1}                                       (Power From With In)                                     {2}

      As Lady Misao goes with her parents on a trip to a spa for family time. She is faced with the fact of trying to deiced if she is going to keep the child or not. Also with trying not to let her parents know anything is going on with her. Lord Kyo reassures her not matter what choice she makes he'll support it and be their for her. After fainting in the spa after seeing Lord Kyo their, he brings her back to his room to rest. They start discussing the situation again when Sagami comes in screaming "Did you just say Have the Baby!!" Lord Kyo tries to silence him before everyone else hears which is to late.

      Lady Misao laughs graciously at everyone's small celebration. But then all her worries and fears come pouring out. As she expresses her feeling in the open Lord Kyo is taken by surprise, more of a state of shock. He tries to comfort her, by agreeing with her worry and telling her that yes her family would accept this child once they new. Lord Kyo insists that they tell her parents immediately. Confronting her parents, surprising enough her father takes it the best and sides with her. Now that all the choices have been made Lord Kyo decides to take Lady Misao out of school to better keep a watchful eye over her. So that she's protected at all times.

The colors are very beautiful considering what the out come of this battle will be. A perfect pre-fight stand off!! Bah! Bah! Bahh! I really like the back of this book though, for once their something there. It has flowers, along with Lord Kyo's hand holding his sword. Wish I could find a picture... "Sad face"

Everyone is very surprised to even see Lord Yoh here. Lord Kyo yells at him, telling him that these actions to don't make up for missing out on things in their life. Lord Yoh's responses is not its because I didn't stand up as a father, just only as a Lord that backed his weaker son for the next Lord.

       The fight continues both men as evenly matched, both pushing harder. An that lady I knew... Had that major crush on Lord Sho is Kaede. She can't accept the fact of Lord Sho might die. She does the Resurrection Spell to keep him alive, screaming that she can't go back to a world without Lord Sho in it. It was her warped messed up look at love towards Lord Sho.

    {Lord Sho} OoWoo... Sexy!

    Personal View:

       I got this copy from Barns and noble (same time I bought Volumes 4-17) in store for $9.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. The ranged age still hasn't been change "Older teen 16+". We see Hoki on the cover, man does he look so young. OMG!! This one has more of a modern feeling background. I got used to more of a floral background kinda theme going on. Yes, though the flowers hes holding really do make the picture with the stretched out hand!! Thank you Sakurakouji for bring the flowers back. This volumes special addition chapter is from New years. All I gotta say about it is, Poor... little Taro with his brothers, and their gifts. Lord Kyo can be so mean sometimes!!... "Smiles"
                                                          (Vol. 13 Chapter 48 Opener)
                                                (Vol. 13 Chapter 48 Closing)
       I want to start by saying this opener for chapter forty-eight has a lot of feeling and meaning behind it. Maybe its just me from all the classes I have taken when I was in college. An maybe I'm just reading between the lines a little. It just seem to have spoke to me this way. Besides the fact it kind of gives more of the ending of this volume away. We see Lady Misao healing Lord Kyo from his injures he received getting Zenki back under control.

     {Part 1}      (Lord Sho's True Feelings, Ch. 49)                                  {Part 2}

    {Part 3}                                                                                {Part 4}

      It's like she's tells herself she's nothing more then Lord Kyo's tool even though we can see he really loves her. But Lord Sho is hurt because he had his future torn apart from him all over the love of Lady Misao. Lord Sho may have accepted not having this roll, though he still can't come to terms with his feelings. Even so that is why I think he pushes everyone away or treats them badly. So he feels the need to remove himself from other people so he doesn't make new bonds to them. Because the first one he ever had got pulled away.

    {Part 5}                                                                                                      {Part 6}
      I believe its not so much the feeling of hatred that drives him its more of a feeling of being moved over, or abandoned by everyone including his own father since he did back Kyo. An Lady Misao cause in the end she did pick Lord Kyo over him, even though she should have been his by right. That Lord Sho wont stop till he has Lady Misao in his grasp, since he has read the whole Senka Roku. He believes that he can keep Lady Misao from harm. It has always been blankly obvious that he does love her very much so, even though he acts out so badly toward her. Because that's the only way he knows how to show love.
                                                                {Part 7}
                                                     (Lady Misao's Thoughts)
     {I can give Kyo strength, I can heal his wounds, I love him, ...And I'm no match for him in anything...,...But I truly feel that I'm of use to him, He tells me...,...With his whole body how he wants me. I want to give him everything. I want him to devour me. Sho said...,...There was nothing he wanted. But he...,...Lost the leadership to Kyo. He hurt everyone around him...,...And has cut himself off. It isn't hatred that drives him...,...But he brushes away anyone who attempts to get close to him, seeming to prefer isolation. We can't stop him. There's nothing we can do. We walk different paths. But...,...But Sho..., My feelings will never waver. What I want is this man.}

    Believe I said somewhere in a previous post, That Lord Kyo, and Lord Sho were going to have some fight or confrontation between them over Lady Misao. Which does start in chapter fifty-one, maybe its also a fight of brothers. Cause one took something from the other, that was so very important to the other one. For having something pored into you since birthday that this is your destiny then, someone coming in an taking it. Hell yes!! I would be pissed if it were myself. Especially after putting in all the time an dedication working myself to my very limit. Cause that's what was expected of me.
