His life is further complicated when he happens upon a mysterious crystal shard the same night he discovers a new comet. Personal View:

  I got this copy from Barns and noble (same time I bought Volumes 4-17) in store for $9.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. The ranged age hasn't been change "Older teen 16+". The cover colors are yellow, and black this time. I really like how Sakurakouji integrates the cover color with what ever Misao has one. Especially with the cherry blossom trees being added, at least I think their cherry blossom trees.

 This volume is crazy off the hook, their is some much happening so fast! Of course though we all knew something was going to go down, when they went back to Lord Kyo's hometown. I just didn't expect that type of turn out!! But yes once again we see Lady Misao taking something into her own hands when she should of waited for Lord Kyo's plan. Yet again she was meant for bait from the start, though she did kinda ask for it since she sought out Sho in his confinement cell. And she does put up a great fight!! "GIRL POWER MAN!!!" Yet it is nice how her character is starting to mature more FINALLY.

{Part 1}                                                                                              {Part 2}
I felt that this part of the chapter spoke to me the most, because we really see whom she really was remembering all along. It was Lord Sho, and not so much Lord Kyo. No, I'm not challenging the relationship she has with Lord Kyo cause its right. I just felt I should point this part out.

 {Part 3}                                                                                                {Part 4}

  {Part 5}
Kyo also decides to not fill anyone in on the role of Sojo that his brother played, as one of his guardians Lord Kyo feels no one else is worthy of taking his brothers place. Which is very understandable, and anyone can relate that has siblings. No one, no matter what happens between you, an your siblings can ever replace them. Besides the fact that Sho miraculously disappears after his alleged attack on Misao. We must remember that they never did find his body among all the debris. Also when the building was coming down he did push Lady Misao to the side by the pillar so that she wouldn't be harmed, so I'm not quite sure if I should label him as the "Bad Guy" just yet. It was a very selfless act saving someone else so they may live an you parish in their place. That to me equals "Hero".....

Personal View:

  I got this copy from Barns and noble (same time I bought Volumes 4-17) in store for $9.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. The ranged age hasn't been change "Older teen 16+". The cover is orange, and black, like I said once before the cover artwork is also absolutely spectacular. This one goes right into the story plot, that Misao is like a wonderfully ripe fruit for the taking.

  We see that from the last book, Kyo didn't know what Christmas is all about.{The Tengu are all Buddhists} Sagami takes it upon himself to have the eight, and the triplets decorate the garden with all Christmas stuff for the sake of Misao. Hoping it will help them get past their quarrel. It's so sweet that their trying to help Misao feel at home, beside comfortable with being apart of their group.

 The sneaky thing is that they have the triplets invite Misao to the little Christmas party their having. Besides that we see Sagami is a very loyal servant to Lord Kyo. He himself has become very frustrated, and has a argument with Lady Misao about what Lord Kyo has been feeling, and dealing with. But later on he makes amends. It is nice to see that Misao keeps Renko as a close friend, the girlfriend of Kyo's best friend. The clan leader of the fox demons Tadanobu.

  As the new year begins, and everyone prepares to go back to Kyo's homeland. Their also going to, prepare in a way for battle to take on Kyo's older brother Sho. So that Kyo keeps being the clan leader. An he wont have to bed Misao to keep it. Though it's finally time that we get to meet Sagami's wife Ayama, Kyo's very ill cousin.

I thought this video went every well along with the feelings

Personal View:

   I got this copy from Barns and noble (same time I bought Volumes 4-17) in store for $9.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. Lately thought I haven't heard many good things about putting a Manga copy of the books on them. Sources (from listening to friends complain). It is ranged for "Older teen 16+". Once again only the one color has changed, which is now purple and black. I'm totally falling head over heels for this volumes cover artwork. I love how their are the purple flowers completely surrounding them, why they embrace each other.

  First off hope you enjoy all the artwork added to this post. Their was just something about this volumes artwork that I just love so much. Sakurakouji drawings are just wonderful. I will say though this volume starts out very sassy. As it progresses we learn more about Kyo's past, and meet his best friend. "The original head of the fox clan, whom gave up his place to his younger brother for love!!" We also get to meet his sexy "wink, wink" girlfriend that makes a special bond with Misao, cause they can both see spirits.

  And both girl's just so happen to be dating demons/clan leaders. Now yeah these girls sure know how to pick their man right!! It's also very cute that we see Kyo, and Misao take their first date, well they kinda do. This volume comes to a close with Kyo, and his best friend Tadanobu having a gruesome sword fight. For the first time though its Misao to the rescue. It's about damn time girl!!

Once again I found another Chapter, its the whole thing of 15 enjoy!! :)

Lately thought I haven't heard many good things about putting a Manga copy on them. Sources (from listening to friends complain). It is ranged for "Older teen". This front cover artwork is just as stunning as the first. (The feeling was right all the cover art is absolutely stunning.) The main colors are green and black

  Their are four chapters as well as the glossary, and a bonus chapter again. I do find it though very romantic and caring that Kyo gives Misao a pendent for her protection. The only problem is that girl needs to keep that stupid thing on! How many feathers does she expect him to give her. He still needs to be able to fly... DUHHH! But yeah its too funny when she also has the fox demon come up to her at school and just flat out asks her to marry him. You know that Kyo's jealousy is so off the charts like overdrive.

  In chapter 11 she goes over to the fox demons house to gain more info about what would happen to her from the Senka Roku, if she were to marry Kyo, an do the official deed to becoming his wife. When Kuzunoha takes his opportunity to make her is prisoner an tries to make her his bride instead. Once again our totally drop dead gorgeous make you completely melt looking guy comes to her rescue with the eight. Now if only this girl didn't "Ez-Drop" on other people's conversation in the first place this situation would have never happened.

Personal View:

   I got this copy from Barns and noble in store for $9.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. Lately thought I haven't heard many good things about putting a Manga copy on them. Sources (from listening to friends complain). It is ranged for "Older teen". This front cover artwork is just as stunning as the first. (Have a feeling their all going to be like this.) The main colors are blue and black I think the reason for the constant black is because of Kyo. Since when hes in his true form he pretty much just in mostly black. Have you noticed when hes in true form his hair gets longer too...!?

 Theirs only four chapters in this volume, besides the glossary, Sakurakouji added a bonus chapter. In our opening we meet Kyo's vassals whom are just as beautiful as Kyo. Oww.. And major story twister his older brother is one of the Eight Daitengu, which are like the clan leaders personal bodyguards.You know theirs going to be some drama their since Kyo took his birth right from him to be the clan leader. Funny part is he shows up last an late.

                                                       (Vol. 2 chapter 8)
  In the first chapter I will say though "My oh my!! We find out that Kyo is and has been a stalker to Misao this whole time!!" He has volumes of different kinds of pictures of her. She finds out when she walks in on the eight looking at them. Yup now that's gotta make you laugh, but totally embarrassing. Kyo's an Misao's relationship starts to progress a little more, which I'm going to kinda expect since he's pretty much saving her every time she turns around. Besides healing her. Yes! Some of those healing sessions are kinda intense for a girl if you kinda like just met the guy. That is claiming hes going to marry you, an already considers you to be his bride, no matter what.

Publishers Weekly:
 High school is hard enough, even under the best of circumstances. Misao Harada would love a normal high school life, but she has been burdened with "the sight" since childhood-a gift that allows her to see a world of myth and magic that surrounds ours. Lonely and somewhat mournful, Misao finds her world turned upside down when she reconnects with her childhood friend and first love Kyo and finds out that he is the head of a demon clan. As luck would have it, Misao is the bride of prophecy whose blood gives power to the demon who claims her. While other demon clans target her intending to consume her power, Kyo gives her the choice to become his bride and enjoy his protection. The tension between the two characters as they stave off supernatural forces is intriguing, and readers will no doubt long for Misao to become Kyo's bride. Sakurakoji's art is very romantic and the characters are almost painfully beautiful; fans will have no difficulty falling for Kyo's good looks and charm. Winner of the 2009 Shogakukan Manga Award for shojo manga. (Aug.)

 Personal View:

   I bought this copy from Barns and noble in store for $8.99 plus tax, it's priced the same online. Unless you would like it for a Nook I believe its $5.99. It is ranged for "Older teen 16+". The front cover artwork is absolutely stunning. The main colors are red and black. You see Misao being held by Kyo, in their lining of their bodies, especially their faces. Its complete exquisited. When you open the book, the artwork inside gets even better. Even the words are clearly placed in just enough space so that the picture doesn't look like its being diminished to make room for them.Their are also five chapters listed in this book besides a glossery.

  In the beginning seven pages you have Misao introducing herself to you, and explaining her abilities. Besides sharing her memorizes of the past. I think that was what got my interest but the hook line an sinker was on the seventh page!!! She's on her way home from school, crowded by demons. She sees the front gate open to a neighboring house that should be empty. Plus saying this part is completely sad!! She believes that shes seeing a woman picking flowers!! She gets a closer look and nope its a man, Whom is Kyo.

  He ever so politely calls her over and re-introduces himself, he shuusshhhsss away the demons by her. Plus gives her a big bouquet of freshly picked flowers. Besides saying "If you run into any trouble, call me." Now sorry but I'm a girl. YEH!!! completely a knight in shining armor complex he totally giving off!! Not so much as a hint that he is is actually a demon clan leader!! Till like another say five pages in. Plus his first "Damsel in distress act" of saving her. It beautifully drawn out! If only it were in color!!  I Love the little like footnotes the author tosses in on different pages. Those are always a must have.

  The storyline is wonderfully unique and its very different from what I have already read. Not many have thought of this yet from my knowledge, great humor, and not anything that can put you to sleep (known from experience). An with it being written for a less juvenile audience I think that's partially what makes it so amazingly wonderful.

Special Surprise!!! Since you were so kind to have read my posts this long! I found a link that will allow you to read the WHOLE first chapter. :)

Black Bird: (ブラックバード Burakku Baado) is a Japanese supernatural shōjo manga written and illustrated by Kanoko Sakurakoji. It has been serialized by Shogakukan in their Betsucomi magazine since 2007. It depicts the life of a high school girl who can see supernatural beings. Black Bird received the 2009 Shogakukan Manga Award for shōjo manga.
In 2008, Viz Media announced they had licensed the series for an English release of the series in North America. Spurting Out a Thought...

     I was out doing errands on "Tuesday 8th, 2013" and I happen to have found myself looking in the book store for a new adventure will say, YES! I will openly say it I love to read... An no please don't sit there and think "OMG! this girl is a total nerd!" :) I'm not anything like Amy A.k.a."Sailor Mercury"{picture listed below} An yes, I do read other things besides Manga. Plus have many other things that are of interest to myself.

   As I was rummaging through the shelves, and trying to decide if I wanted to look into a horror type next read, or just another cuties type book. I dropped a manga on the floor the cover looked quite interesting so I flipped through a few pages, I will personally say the artwork is what keep my attention to want to read a little. I think I read about 6 pages and it was like "Yes, I've found a new interest."

  Of course being in the store Manga ALWAYS happens to be more expensive, so I looked the book up. Just my luck the price was only a dollar different.... So yes, I said "What the hell." And bought it anyways. An knowing me I would have bought the first 5 copy's but they didn't have the fourth in store even though they had every copy up to the latest printed book... It's like curse you manga gods! You drop a good looking read in my lap but you can't give me the first five copy's!!

  Yes, if your someone that like's or love's manga you'll truly understand my pain. But if your new to this type of reading. CONGRATULATIONS! Please enjoy this wonderful word of spectacular art. Since I now have a new manga to talk about I might as well stop gabbing away here and share it with everyone. Hope you enjoy it like I did.

 -Yes, I took this picture right out of my own
